Sebastian Martinez appointed as new CEO of Chimney -
leading the company into a new era.

On January 1, Sebastian Martinez will take over as the new CEO of Chimney. Since the merger between Chimney and One Post in June, the operations have been integrated, creating a leading post-production house. As Martinez now steps into the role, the synergies of the merger will be fully realized, with a clear promise to the industry: the company will be stronger than ever in drama and lead the development of future post-production. At the same time, the new company name for the merged entity will be Chimney Studios.

The mission is about further developing "The Chimney Way" by streamlining and challenging traditional working methods. Innovation and new technology are central, but technology is always subordinate to creativity. Technology is a crucial tool for innovating and supporting creators' visions, but it is the artists with their years of expertise who are the key to creating groundbreaking and Oscar-winning projects. We must also offer our clients more efficient solutions to help them with their challenging budgets.

Sebastian Martinez has a solid background in the industry. As the founder of the production company ON NOX PICTURES, he has produced feature films, commercials, and documentaries. He has consistently driven growth initiatives and explored the intersection between traditional and new media to develop the Swedish film industry.

Throughout his career, Martinez has focused on elevating new talent and welcoming a new generation of creators, not least as a driving force behind the industry network "Young Producers Club". This passion for talent development now becomes a cornerstone of Chimney Studios.

Now that the merger with One Post is complete, the new Chimney stands ready to meet the market. The signal to the industry is clear: the company remains the obvious and strongest partner for TV series and feature films, while continuing to be a pioneer in developing new formats and projects that drive the entire Nordic industry forward.
